OPPORTUNITY:
PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a mental health profession Clinical Psychologist for a Federally supported client in Gallup, NM 87420
The Mental Health services are designed to support the mission of the Indian Health Services (IHS) by raising the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of the American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level.
IHS is the principal federal health care provider and health advocate for the Indian people and to ensure that comprehensive, culturally appropriate personal and public health services are available and accessible to the American Indian and Alaska Native people; to promote excellence and quality through innovation into an optimally performing organization; and to strengthen program management and operations. IHS currently provides a comprehensive health service delivery system to approximately 2.6 million American Indians and Alaska Natives who belong to 574 federally recognized tribes in 37 states.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:
- Gallup, New Mexico
WORK HOURS: 40 Hours per week or 5 days out of the normal work week. The facility is open Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. with the weekends off. Ability to provide after-hours services if needed.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- License and Insurance Requirements: The Mental Health Professional (performing work must be registered/licensed/certified by the State, as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or LCSW
- Experience: Must have a minimum of one (5) years of experience in providing mental health care. Previous practice in settings such as schools, colleges, institutions, military or correctional institutions is desired. Admission and attending privileges at local hospitals or specialty clinics is desired.
- Computer Skills: Experience in Microsoft Word and Outlook is required.
