OPPORTUNITY:

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide professional healthcare services for a federally supported client at Maxwell Air Force Base, located in Montgomery, Alabama.

LOCATION:

  • Maxwell Air Force Base

  • Montgomery, AL 36112

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

  • Full-Time (40 hours per week)

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break

  • Federal holidays off (New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver direct patient care services to officer trainees, cadets, and staff

  • Perform physical examinations, medical evaluations, and treatment plans

  • Support trainee health policies in preventive medicine and occupational medicine

  • Conduct health assessments and advise medical staff on public health issues

  • Participate in health-related policy development and quality improvement activities

  • Complete and manage administrative duties related to patient care

  • Operate within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, including MHS Genesis and Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

  • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license

  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care)

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA guidelines)

  • At least 24 months of recent experience (within the last 36 months) in outpatient clinical settings (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine)

  • U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the United States

  • Must be able to pass a Tier 1 Background Investigation (federal background check)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Malpractice/professional liability insurance

  • Current DEA Registration (if applicable)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record systems

  • Completion of orientation and all mandatory military base training

  • Compliance with immunization requirements (TB, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza, Hepatitis B, etc.)
