PsyPhyCare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide on-site mental health services for a federally supported residential program in Edinburgh, Indiana. This program serves approximately 300 youth, ages 16–24, from poverty-level backgrounds, supporting them in their journey toward meaningful employment.
Work Hours:
- 40 hours per week (5 days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Services to be provided 40 hours per week in Edinburgh, IN and 20
hours per week in Indianapolis, IN. This position will require multiple Mental Health Consultant to fulfill the hours. - Increased afternoon/evening hours for interaction with students in various environments such as dorms, recreational areas, counseling offices, and the dining hall
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver mental health services on-site to promote students' emotional well-being and support program success.
- Engage directly with students in diverse settings, fostering strong rapport and presence within the student community.
- Provide guidance, oversight, and training to staff conducting group counseling sessions, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Actively support the mental health and wellness programs tailored to at-risk youth.
Position Requirements:
- Licensure: Must hold an active license as a Clinical Psychologist or LCSW in the State of Indiana.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health care for adolescents and young adults; experience in school, college, institutional, military, or correctional settings is preferred.
- Preferred: Admission and attending privileges at local hospitals or specialty clinics.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
