Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dentist to provide high-quality dental care for a Health Center in Albion. This role offers flexibility for both part-time and full-time schedules, making it an ideal opportunity for those looking to diversify their income while maintaining a balanced lifestyle. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental health issues, working closely with a team of hygienists and assistants to ensure the best patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Chief Dental Officer
- Contribute to providing the highest standard of patient care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all personnel policies and procedures
- Provide dental diagnostics and treatment services, as per New York State's Dental Practice Act
- Accurately record patient evaluations and treatment in the EHR system
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
- Supervise dental assistants and hygienists working alongside you
- Demonstrate commitment to the health center's values and mission
- Participate in annual continuing dental education to stay current in the field
- Follow all infection control and exposure safety protocols
- Contribute to departmental peer review processes
- Ensure completed notes are locked within three days of patient visits
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by senior management
Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited dental school
- Completion of General Practice Residency as required in New York State
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Daily supervision of dental support and provider staff, including assistants and hygienists
